Aquaurum BottleHave your gold and drink it too, with new Aquaurum Metal Water™. This one-of-a-kind premium quality beverage was created by mixing natural alkaline mineral spring water with 23K edible gold flakes. The result is a custom beverage that is as beautiful to look at as it is healthy to drink.

Patrick Mansell, Operations Director, shares his story about the making of Aquaurum. ” I had been developing a new, never before attempted beverage, so it was uncharted territory for everyone involved. After my first tour of the Langlade Springs bottling facility, I was able to see firsthand that their co-packing capabilities and naturally high pH water were unmatched.”

The name Aquaurum is what is called a portmanteau, a word formed by merging the sounds and meanings of two different words. It is derived from Latin … Aqua meaning water and Aurum meaning gold. Refinement and stamping of the gold into flakes happens in Germany in the EU. 23K gold is alloyed with other metals so it stays together during the stamping process. The gold is safe to drink because it is non-toxic and is not absorbed into the digestive tract so it passes through the body.

Mansell continues, “When the day to produce the first truckload of this custom beverage finally came, I was excited, but a little bit nervous. All the planning in the world can’t take 100% of the variables that could go wrong out of the equation. As the assembly line came alive and the bottles started racing down the conveyors, the first finished bottle was handed to me and I knew immediately that the formula was correct. It felt amazing to see something you’ve had in your head for 8 months finally come into reality. I couldn’t have been happier with the staff at Langlade Springs for their flexibility and the positive attitude they displayed throughout the process!”

Aquaurum Metal Water is available in 16.9 fl. oz. BPA free bottles that are 100% recyclable.
